1.School students across the country have been asked to send a 50-paisa postcard to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to commemorate 75 years of the country’s independence.
2.The campaign is a part of the ongoing celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM). The 75-Lakh Post Card Campaign has been initiated by the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, in collaboration with the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education.
3.Our Students of Classes IV to IX have participated in this event. Participants have to write on any of the two topics — ‘Unsung Heroes of the Freedom Struggle’ and ‘My Vision for India in 2047’.
